Coaching Opportunities
Share knowledge, build skills, grow together
We are offering informal coaching opportunities during the tournament, both for those who would like to receive coaching and for those happy to share their experience.
This is an excellent chance to learn in a relaxed, friendly environment, with more unstructured time available than at a typical tournament. Sessions are intended to be educational and enjoyable rather than commercial — a genuine knowledge-sharing experience.
Coaching is open to players of all standards, from newer competitors looking to build confidence to experienced players wanting to refine technical skills such as decision-making, cube action, and match play. In addition, coaches with the knowledge are encouraged to cover the mental side of the game, including focus, emotional control, confidence, and how to handle variance and pressure.
Developing the right mindset is a vital part of improving at backgammon, and these sessions provide an opportunity to learn practical tools that can be applied immediately at the board and taken away for future play. Our aim is that everyone has the opportunity to go home a better and more resilient backgammon player.
